Art & Music

Our camp this year is based on the award winning book, Snowflake Bentley, by Jacqueline Briggs Martin, illustrated by Mary Azarian. This Caldecott winner is a non-fiction introduction to Wilson Bentley who loved snowflakes from his very earliest years and spent decades figuring out how to photograph them. And subsequently discovered that no two snowflakes are exactly alike.

Introduce your child to a broad range of artistic and creative experiences based on a camp-wide literary theme. This imaginative arts program engages children in art, theater, music, and dance.

Each day at camp includes visual arts (painting, drawing, sculpting, and craft activities), music (singing, dancing, and exploring different instruments), and theater (stories, puppetry, role-playing, and other dramatic activities). East End Arts offers a comfortable home-like setting and fenced-in, park-like grounds for outdoor play. The small group size provides for a supportive camp experience with lots of personal attention given to each camper.
