Striving to be a leader in art and music education on Long Island.

East End Arts unlocks the creativity of area residents by offering high-quality art education to Long Island locals.

Since 1995, the East End Arts Art & Music School has served over 1,400 students every year. From early childhood to seniors, programs provide year-round private and group instruction in music, art, design, and theatre.

Our art school programming nurtures creative flexibility and lifelong learning in a wide variety of the arts.

Students receive real-world experience and form bonds with their peers. Instruction is provided by working and teaching professionals, with degrees from prestigious institutions such as RISD, Pratt, Juilliard, Mannes, Boston Conservatory of Music, Berklee College of Music, and Moscow Conservatory of Music. Many instructors have received awards from high-caliber exhibitions and their art has been showcased in permanent collections at museums such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

When possible, East End art school programs lead to exhibitions and performances that showcase the student artists and provide exposure to the community.

Art is essential for a child’s development. Studies show individuals who participate in arts education:

  • Are twice as likely to read for pleasure
  • Are four times more likely to be recognized for academic and professional achievements
  • Are four times more likely to participate in math and science activities
  • Have strengthened problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

East End Arts & Music School provides opportunities to Unlock Creativity and Build Community for life.

TESTIMONIALS

WHAT THEY ARE SAYING

Emily Puccio

I had to write to thank you for a wonderful camp experience for Calvin this week. The snow got in the way a bit, but it didn’t stop the fun! He was so proud of himself and really enjoyed his time with the other campers and Ms. Haupt. If you run a camp for the next school vacation, you might want to advertise it with one fewer seat than is available, because Calvin definitely wants a spot!

Rob G.

Thank you Natalia, Indira, and Franklin for all of your performances, and for sharing your musical talents. You are all an inspiration to other students and to all the parents and other supporters of the Arts. It is a pleasure working with all of you. And thank you Kathleen for bringing it all together, while still giving the students the latitude to be creative. EEA is truly a respite and outlet for expression and artistry. This accomplishment is something to be very proud of – well done, everyone!

Dushy & Roman Roth

Yes! Thank you to Kathleen and all the team at East End Arts for providing amazing opportunities for our kids and allowing them to shine! I am especially grateful as Kathleen made it possible for Indira to join at the last minute and to Franklin for agreeing to accompany her and learning a song in one night!

What talent!
