East End Arts & Humanities Council strives to unite and enrich communities of Eastern Long Island through gallery exhibition, art & music education, opportunity, and events.
We are a cultural engine located on the nexus of the two Forks of Long Island that enhances local community, tourism, collaboration, and artist initiatives. We work with creative experts in order to offer programs that are both inspirational and aspirational. We embrace being located in a unique up-and-coming area and are a powerful catalyst for economic and cultural revitalization in Downtown Riverhead as we strive to build the historic Arts District of the East End.
We are the third oldest art organization on Eastern Long Island. Our location between the North and South Fork allows us to connect and empower artists not just here in Riverhead but throughout the East End. We are rooted here on Main Street, where we collaborate with local businesses, nonprofits, schools, civic groups, and government.
We build community, through visual arts, music, literary arts or digital media. We host community events, fine art exhibitions, offer arts and music education, and open art and music studios.
