East End Art School offers a variety of fun and educational camps designed to unleash your child’s creativity as they join our youth-oriented arts community.
Full and half-day camps are open to all children between the ages of 5 and 14. Early morning and after-care hours fit your work schedule.
Immerse your child in a safe and creative environment where they explore art, theater, music, and dance. Each camp concludes with an art show and performance for camper’s families.

Presidents‘ Week Camp from February 20 – February 24:
This is a one-week camp during Presidents’ Week. Our teacher introduces your child to a broad range of artistic and creative experiences based on a camp-wide theme, generally pulled from literature. This imaginative arts program engages children in art, theater, music, and dance.
Each day at camp includes the visual arts (painting, drawing, sculpting, and craft activities), music (singing, dancing, and exploring different instruments), and theater (stories, puppetry, role-playing, and other dramatic activities). The East End Arts School offers a home-like setting with comfortable heated rooms and fenced-in, park-like grounds for outdoor play – even if it snows! The small group size provides for a supportive camp experience with a ton of personal attention.
Eight individual Weeks of Creative Art and Music Camp
This one-week camp cycles over an 8-week period. Introduce your child to a broad range of artistic and creative experiences based on a camp-wide theme. This imaginative summer arts program engages children in art, theater, music, and dance.
Camp Superstar is based on a different theme each summer brought to life through children’s Literature utilizing books that showcase topics such as the Environment, Nature, Kindness, and Self-Esteem. Through creativity and expression, your child will discover what makes them so amazing! EEA counselors integrate music and art from all parts of life into all activities.

This one-week camp is offered four times each summer. Each week concentrates your child’s creativity in hands-on instruction focused on one of the fine arts. Your child will create a variety of projects while building skills working in painting, drawing, collage, sculpture, printmaking, ceramics, and assemblage. They will work with new materials, recycle found objects, construct interesting forms, and discover different processes and new techniques while having lots of fun! Students create an exhibit of their works on the last day of camp.
Rock Band Camp
Vocal Performance Camp
The week-long Band Camp/Guitar Camp/Vocal Performance Camp offers each student the ability to put all those lessons to work. In Rock that Band any instrument is welcome, and the students are encouraged to try at least one new instrument while in camp.
Guitar Camp will introduce you to acoustic and electric guitar, how to care for your guitar, what sort of equipment is needed, and how to take a solo, or just how to hold down a rhythm, basically everything you need to know to just start our or to take your playing to the next step.
Vocal Performance Camp will explore different genres of song, how to be a healthy singer, how to utilize your breath, how to use a microphone and everything you will need to start your vocal journey.
The campers benefit from playing and singing alongside their peers, while your child explores different genres and develops their musical skills and have fun composing their own pieces. Practicing and performance skills.
At the end of each camp week, the campers put on a live performance!
Beginners are welcome, though prior experience with a musical instrument or vocal experience enhances the camp experience. Rock on!

All camps are held at the East End Arts School, located at 141 East Main Street in Riverhead, NY. Classes are offered in professional studios with comfortable air-conditioned/heated rooms and scenic grounds for outdoor breaks and lunch.
Early morning care is offered from 8:30 – 9:00 AM
Aftercare is available from 3:00 – 5:00 PM.
Aftercare includes modified camp activities.
Cost: $30 per day or $100 per week
Your child’s camp sessions are led by counselors chosen for their expertise, dedication, and enthusiasm for working with children. Camp Superstar utilizes a comfortable ratio of 1:6 counselors to children. Fine Arts & Rock That Band Camps maintain a comfortable ratio of 1:10. These small group sizes ensure your child experiences an in-depth learning experience with personal attention.
Campers must bring their own snacks and lunch daily in an insulated container.
On the last day of each camp, campers show off their creations to family and friends. Details provided at camp.
Transportation is the responsibility of the parent/guardian.
A limited number of partial scholarships are available, based on financial need. Request a scholarship application by calling the East End Arts School at 631-369-2171, emailing email@example.com or downloading a scholarship form. The deadline for application is May 1.
Camps have limited space. Campers are registered on a first-come-first-served basis. East End Arts School maintains a waiting list for full camps. The registering adult will receive a call confirming their spot in camp a week prior to the beginning of camp.
