This course will familiarize each student with the techniques of painting and drawing from photographs.  The instructor will demonstrate how to capture “the essence” of a photographic subject, while capturing the true values . Photographs can be very misleading regarding value and color.  Students will be taught how to go beyond the photograph to create a true work of art!!  All levels of experience are welcomed, working in any medium and subject you prefer
