Learn how to create street art with chalk pastels. In this hands-on session, participants go through the step-by-step process of transforming a picture or design of your choice into a vibrant work of art on pavement. Plus, you’ll get to use your skills at the Mosaic Street Painting Festival on May 26th!
You practice proportions, alignment, blending, shading, and highlighting with chalk pastels as you learn how to create depth and dimension to bring your artwork to life with bold colors and soft transitions. Discover techniques for creating realistic shadows and highlights, adding a dynamic element to your composition. The workshop is full of personalized guidance and tips to ensure you feel confident to continue your new practice.
Whether you’re a beginner in art or an experienced artist looking to explore a new medium, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to create vibrant street art that will dazzle and delight. Join us either Saturday (or both), and tackle your Mosaic square like a pro.
