In this 4 week workshop students will get a quick introduction to various bookbinding techniques by exploring different book structures.
Starting with simple accordion books to display and protect artwork or family photos, we will then construct single signature pamphlets.
Finally we will sew a multi signature book using Japanese and linkstich binding. We will experiment with papers and fabrics for covers and even create our own Suminagashi endpapers!

A great way to familiarize yourself with the ancient art of hand bookbinding.

Beginners welcome.

$25 materials fee.
