Painting/How to Create a Portrait
Ages 10 – 14

East End Arts hosts (4) one-week/full day fine arts camps

Join us for a week of creativity and foundation building as we engage in fun projects while learning new methods and techniques of painting. We will concentrate on creating a portrait while working with perspective, proportion, and composition. The campers learn to add color, light, shape, and texture to their works. They gain confidence, build skills in observational drawing, try new methods, work with new mediums, and grow to express themselves either realistically or abstractly. All projects are appropriate for any skill level, and the teacher works alongside each student. By the end of the week each camper will create a portfolio of works that will be displayed in an exhibit on the last day of camp. Register early: enrollment is limited to 15 students.

Full Day: Monday – Friday • 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Lunch: (bring your own) 12:00 to 12:30

Full-Day/Full Week – $450.00, Member 20% Discount – $360.00

Early Morning & Aftercare Hours
Early morning care is offered from 8:30 – 9:00 AM
Aftercare is available from 3:00 – 5:00 PM
Aftercare includes modified camp activities.
Cost: $30 per day or $100 per week
