Group Class – All Abilities Teens/Adults

Embark on a musical journey with our Teen and Young Adult Group Classes at East End Arts, carefully crafted to cultivate a space where young adults of all abilities can delve into the world of music, fostering creativity, musical connection, and personal growth. Our dynamic music group is a haven for young adults, providing an environment where they can learn, collaborate, and flourish together.

In this class, the students engage in the joy of music-making through group instrument playing, vocal exploration, and collaborative music creation. Our program is designed to be an inclusive platform for self-expression and skill development, where young adults can not only learn from experienced instructors but also from each other. Join us at East End Arts and unlock the potential of music in a supportive and inspiring community.

Pre-Teen Art Classes

This is the perfect class for pre-teen and teens to dive a little deeper into the process and create multi-media projects, to include drawing, mixed media, painting, clay and sculpture. The students will be introduced to artists and their mediums and will be encouraged to create their own masterpieces. Melissa emphasizes creativity in every project.

Creativity involves critical thinking, planning, and focusing your attention. Children learn through this process as different parts of the brain jump into action. They might discover something they never knew before, learn how to solve a problem, or figure out a new way to look at or do something!
Supplies are included.

Thursdays, 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., 8 Classes, March 14, 21 April 4, 11, 18, May 2, 9, & 16 (no classes March 28, & April 25).

Fantastic Art Time

Fantastic Art Time, is a children’s art exploration class with artist and teacher, Kenneth Jackson.

This fun-filled hour-long class is packed with tons of art exploration. Students discover new ways to paint and draw, working with multiple mediums that allow them to create and let their imaginations go wild. All materials included.

Ultimate Studio, Drawing & Painting Class with Kenneth Jackson.

This session starts on March 2nd due to a snow day on February 17th, and the President’s Week Holiday. It will end March 23, 2024.

Ultimate Studio is an ongoing studio class, formatted in four-week sessions, to help build your skills in multiple mediums of art. This unique studio class will delve into the basics of drawing and painting. Each week the student concentrates on different styles, paint mediums, and subject matter, mastering a portrait, then a figure, then still life, then abstract, and maybe landscape too. This class is suited for all levels and works as a true studio class. Each person walks away with a sense of accomplishment and determination, with improved skills to push them even further in their art journey. The goal is to complete a fantastic art piece each session.

Please bring your own supplies, canvas, paints, paper, etc. Easels, brushes, and other basic supplies will be provided. If you wish to utilize EEA supplies, you will be charged an additional:

$5.00/per (1 to 4 sessions)
$6.25 (5 sessions)
$12.50 (10 sessions)

This class is open to individuals of all levels and abilities. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just starting your artistic journey, this class welcomes you to explore and express yourself freely.

Our instructor, Marie-Ael, is passionate about helping you discover the artist within.

In her own words …
“Everyone has a unique perception and relationship to the world that deserves to be heard, seen, encouraged… and shared. My ambition is to encourage everyone to connect with their creative potential and to discover, develop and express their own visual world and voice through the use of a variety of mediums, techniques and artistic references. My vision is also for the people to connect to each other as creative artists, supporting the unfolding of each other’s unique vision and style. Each class will be an opportunity for creative relaxation, artistic connection and self discovery.”

During this class you will work with paint, mixed media, and dabble in printmaking. You will be encouraged to engage in thought-provoking discussions on creativity and artistic expression. The group focuses on nurturing your individual creativity and fostering a supportive community, Marie-Ael is committed to helping you develop your unique artistic vision and style

Join us for a new art experience that will not only enhance your artistic skills but also deepen your connection to yourself and others. Together, let’s embark on a journey of self-discovery and creative expression.

You can pay for one class or get a 5 or 10 class pass at a discounted price.
