We’re excited to announce that East End Arts has moved into a temporary space at 206 Griffing Avenue, right next to Riverhead Town Hall. This town-owned building will now house our school programming, administrative offices, and more while our East Main Street campus undergoes important flood mitigation work and is reimagined as part of the new Town Square project.
What This Move Means
- More accessible space: All of our arts, music, and office facilities are now on the first floor and fully wheelchair-accessible.
- Enhanced programming: We’ll be expanding our Arts for All offerings to better serve people with varying needs, including folks with disabilities and other marginalized groups.
- Consolidated operations: Several of our previously scattered spaces are now under one roof—making collaboration, efficiency, and community connection much stronger.
A Moment of Celebration
We held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the opening. A big thank-you to staff, board, and town officials for helping make the transition smooth. Supervisor Tim Hubbard presented us with a certificate of recognition; Council Members praised our growth and the value we bring to Riverhead’s arts community.
