About the Exhibition

East End Arts Council presents The Print Continuum, a national juried exhibition celebrating the evolving world of contemporary printmaking.

Bringing together artists from across the country, The Print Continuum explores the dynamic relationship between traditional printmaking practices and contemporary experimentation.

The exhibition showcases the remarkable range and versatility of printmaking, from time-honored techniques to innovative and hybrid approaches that expand our understanding of what a print can be.

Featured processes include:

  • Woodcut
  • Linocut
  • Etching
  • Lithography
  • Intaglio
  • Screen printing
  • Monotype
  • Collagraph
  • And more

Together, the works demonstrate how artists continue to reinterpret, challenge, and build upon the traditions of printmaking, creating an exhibition where established techniques and new ideas exist along the same creative continuum.
