Watercolor Art: Seeing the East End Colors Through Paint
Instructor: Christopher Ghiraldi
Join us for an immersive watercolor art class led by Christopher Ghiraldi, a versatile artist with over 20 years of experience. Open to all skill levels, this workshop focuses on capturing the vibrant colors of the East End landscape using watercolor techniques as well as gouache. Ghiraldi’s deep understanding of color theory, honed through a BFA from SUNY Purchase, allows him to expertly guide participants in exploring the subtle shifts and bold contrasts of natural light and color.
Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced painter, you will learn how to harness the unique properties of watercolor to bring your vision to life. Christopher’s own artistic journey includes a diverse portfolio that ranges from whimsical robots and detailed portraits to complex abstract designs. His work has gained recognition from prestigious institutions like Pantone, and his teaching style is both accessible and enriching, allowing you to develop your technique while discovering new ways to see and express the world around you.
