Big Canvas – Painting Beyond the Borders is open to artists of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced painters, and offers an immersive experience in painting on large canvases, up to 36″ x 36″. The class explores the expressive possibilities of working with acrylics or water-soluble oils, perfect for those who want to take their art beyond the boundaries of smaller formats.
Led by Christopher Ghiraldi, a multifaceted visual artist with over two decades of experience, students will receive expert instruction and inspiration. Ghiraldi holds a BFA from SUNY Purchase and has developed a diverse artistic portfolio that includes watercolor, oils, acrylics, and mixed media. His distinctive work, characterized by bold use of color theory, ranges from whimsical, cartoonish robots and vivid portraits to intricate abstract designs. Ghiraldi’s talent has attracted attention from private collectors and prestigious institutions like Pantone.
