THE ARTISTÕS WAY: A Seminar for Artists

If you are a writer, a painter, a photographer, an actor, or any other type of creative professional, or if you long to be the artist you were meant to be, this seminar is for you. Jump-start your life using the process outlined by Julia Cameron in her book, The ArtistÕs Way. Printmaker and educator Linda Prentiss will guide you through the process in a supportive environment. Learn to listen to your own creative voice while working through art media, readings, journal writings, and discussion with other artists. Participants need to purchase the paperback book, Supplies; A Troubleshooting Guide for Creative Difficulties by Julia Cameron. Note from the facilitator: This will be the 4th time I have led an ArtistÕs Way group. I get as much out of it as the participants, and IÕm truly looking forward to meeting a fine group of artists. Although IÕve modeled the seminar on CameronÕs popular book, The ArtistÕs Way, I add to it with my own areas of expertise. This time we will use CameronÕs shorter book, which contains much of the same wisdom. IÕve been told by some that this seminar changes lives. I hope it will again inspire participants to Òleap and the net will appear.Ó  (5 sessions) Fridays 10:30AM-1:30PM, Nov.6 - Dec. 11 (no class 11/27) Cost: $180 member EEAC/ $225 nonmember
